1. Learner
Educators continually improve their practice by learning from and with others and exploring proven and promising practices that leverage technology to improve student learning. Educators:
1a: Set professional learning goals to explore and apply pedagogical approaches made possible by technology and reflect on their effectiveness.
1b: Pursue professional interests by creating and actively participating in local and global learning networks.
1c: Stay current with research that supports improved student learning outcomes, including findings from the learning sciences.
Evidence: Students and Teachers have the option and opportunities to continue their learning and learn from each other. In my education practicum last semester, I got to see such different perspective and creativity I never thought much about. The best part is that the students I was placed with for practicum were younger were elementary instead of Secondary. These students are creative, but they are also good at teaching those older than them about something if you let them share. I learned almost more from the students then from my practicum instructor though she was wonderful, and I learned an extensive amount from her as well.

Leader
Educators seek out opportunities for leadership to support student empowerment and success and to improve teaching and learning. Educators:
2a: Shape, advance and accelerate a shared vision for empowered learning with technology by engaging with education stakeholders.
2b: Advocate for equitable access to educational technology, digital content and learning opportunities to meet the diverse needs of all students.
2c: Model for colleagues the identification, exploration, evaluation, curation and adoption of new digital resources and tools for learning.
Evidence: Students all have different personalities and dynamics on how they were raised. I created this Concept Map; we use these to be on the same page because all people understand and see the world differently and adults are not any different. We all view the world and especially school and the classroom with our own lens which means we should also know there are many ways education can be perceived or handled. When given a place to lead and grow in themselves a student can take the lead on something and share what they know and cultivate the diverse mindset that we need in school. If we take turns taking the lead students will gain more understanding and confidence with themselves and each other. I work with different ages multiple times a week from elementary to middle and high school to people twice my age. In all the activities I do I can also be both leader and learner. I over the weekend was put in a place where I walked into it thinking I was just being the assistant again, but I was put on as a Pre-K- K leader and I did better than I thought and with that even students that age is good at taking the lead in their little classes well we go through the lesson.

Citizen
Educators inspire students to positively contribute to and responsibly participate in the digital world. Educators:
3a: Create experiences for learners to make positive, socially responsible contributions and exhibit empathetic behavior online that build relationships and community.
3b: Establish a learning culture that promotes curiosity and critical examination of online resources and fosters digital literacy and media fluency.
3c: Mentor students in safe, legal and ethical practices with digital tools and the protection of intellectual rights and property.
3d: Model and promote management of personal data and digital identity and protect student data privacy.
Evidence: I have another example from real life experience that is not technological but first I have been using the use and creation tool of a website so people can get to know me better for education and theatre.
In the past weekend in a church classroom, I mentioned above we had a little six-year-old boy who normally is very excitable and acts out every so often and he was sharing and taking the lead on a few of the big questions and answering questions in our lesson. I believe if the right questions are asked and there is a sort of script or direction given to the students in there learning they will better understand what they need to do. I believe as an educator finding proper and ethically sourced resources is important for our students. If our students understand what places to look for their resources and tools that can help them, they will have an easier time at growing their knowledge and finding success.

Collaborator
Educators dedicate time to collaborate with both colleagues and students to improve practice, discover and share resources and ideas, and solve problems. Educators:
4a: Dedicate planning time to collaborate with colleagues to create authentic learning experiences that leverage technology.
4b: Collaborate and co-learn with students to discover and use new digital resources and diagnose and troubleshoot technology issues.
4c: Use collaborative tools to expand students' authentic, real-world learning experiences by engaging virtually with experts, teams and students, locally and globally.
4d: Demonstrate cultural competency when communicating with students, parents and colleagues and interact with them as co-collaborators in student learning.
Evidence: For technology I have made sure to have people who are in projects with me that we put on socials the choice to be a collaborator, and I have also used the Creative Commons Licensures to better understand. On the other hand, for theatre especially, there is so much room for collaboration. Writing, performing, crafting and just many designs and performance opportunities provide opportunities for collaboration. I have to find the time in my schedule, but I was recently invited back to a school I was assigned to for practicum last semester to do a sort of workshop for the middle schoolers to help them in their Shakespeare adaptation their doing. I have collaborated with other artists in my performance and writing to create pieces that people will understand more easily.
-
Designer
Educators design authentic, learner-driven activities and environments that recognize and accommodate learner variability. Educators:
5a: Use technology to create, adapt and personalize learning experiences that foster independent learning and accommodate learner differences and needs.
5b: Design authentic learning activities that align with content area standards and use digital tools and resources to maximize active, deep learning.
5c: Explore and apply instructional design principles to create innovative digital learning environments that engage and support learning.
Evidence: In this new technological world, a lot of student's designs can be done on their iPad and printed and fixed to size and shape needed for design work. I am on the hunt for different art and design tools that will help for the design aspects in theatre. On the other hand, I knew a guy younger than me back in high school that was dyslexic or had trouble reading but when he memorized, he was a forest to be reckoned with in his performances. I believe he had a screen or some sort of reader to help him with reading his script. I want to be a writer, director, and someone with all the other hats I wear that helps my students get to where they need to be like this.

Facilitator
Educators facilitate learning with technology to support student achievement of the ISTE Standards for Students. Educators:
6a: Foster a culture where students take ownership of their learning goals and outcomes in both independent and group settings.
6b: Manage the use of technology and student learning strategies in digital platforms, virtual environments, hands-on maker spaces or in the field.
6c: Create learning opportunities that challenge students to use a design process and computational thinking to innovate and solve problems.
6d: Model and nurture creativity and creative expression to communicate ideas, knowledge or connections.
Evidence: As mentioned in collaboration and citizen I have been in positions where I have been helping and leading students in activities and projects recently. I have had to deal with a slideshow on a flatscreen TV that I did not make and that can be confusing with how it works when you do not know where the slide that is missing but is said it is a certain slide is located. Both controlling the room around you and the technology is very important. Students are better ready to participate if you can figure out what you are needing to do to keep yourself and the students engaged. Asking questions and keeping participation and easy access activities ready if something with technology doesn't go right is important to keep classroom engagement.

Analyst
Educators understand and use data to drive their instruction and support students in achieving their learning goals. Educators:
7a: Provide alternative ways for students to demonstrate competency and reflect on their learning using technology.
7b: Use technology to design and implement a variety of formative and summative assessments that accommodate learner needs, provide timely feedback to students and inform instruction.
7c: Use assessment data to guide progress and communicate with students, parents and education stakeholders to build student self-direction.
Evidence: After class or even before students should be able to reflect on their participation of the day. Students who are about to enter the world after high school also deserve some sort of activities that will help them understand what projects and jobs are really available. that they might like to do and be good at. Students who know what they want before they graduate have a better chance at having the most time as possible in their fields someday.
